Lawson’s “Lifetime Warranty” Is Really 2 Years

In January of 2021, we had Floor Coverings International Colorado install Lawson Floors Legends Collection in our home. We were shown documentation that it carried a “lifetime warranty” and that their Luxury Vinyl Flooring was the top of the line.

Two years after the installation, the flooring began to separate and chip. We contacted the installer, and they explained to us that the product was defective and that we were to contact Lawson directly.

We immediately contacted them and they agreed to send out a neutral third party flooring inspector to look at the damage. The inspector came to our home, identified all the areas of damage and defect and then left. We were told that the inspector would file his report with Lawson and that we would hear back shortly.

As of this review, we have been waiting for many months, and after repeated attempts to contact Lawson, they have completely ignored us.

The below photos show the progression of the defects. The floors continue to deteriorate, and Lawson refuses to respond in any way. We have received no inspection report and our phone calls and emails go unanswered.

If you are considering installing Luxury Vinyl Floors in your home, I cannot stress the poor quality of these floors. the warranty has proven worthless, and we are now going to have to pay for new flooring and installation.
