Floor Coverings International Colorado Review – Buyer Beware
Faulty Installation and Poor Workmanship

In January of 2021, Floor Coverings International installed Lawson Floors in our home. The flooring quickly began to deteriorate.
When we contacted Floor Coverings International, we were told that the Limited Liability Company (LLC) that owned it during our install, had sold its assets to a separate Floor Coverings International in 2022 and that they were not responsible for warranty work on previously installed flooring.
A quick search on the Colorado Secretary of State’s website will show that there are over two dozen trade names registered in Colorado to some variation of “Floor Coverings International.” Each of these trade names is, or was, registered to a separate LLC.
By using this “Asset Purchase,” LLCs are allowed to transfer the name, inventory, online presence/reviews, etc. while removing all liability for work performed in the past.
It costs $50 to create a new LLC in Colorado. Much less expensive than honoring warranty claims.
Our aim here is to show the deterioration of the flooring over a three year period.
The flooring continues to fall apart and we will update this website up and until we replace the flooring. We will most certainly be using another flooring installer!
